The Ljubljanske Mlekarne Company is preparing to deliver the second batch of its products to China, which is 21 thousand litres of milk. The first batch (10 thousand litres) was successfully shipped to China more than a month ago.

On 23 September, a delegation of Chinese businessmen from Ningbo visited Maribor and explored the opportunities of investment in the city facilities. “The most important goal of the Chinese side is the Maribor Airport,” the Mayor Andrej Fištravec said.
China has recently received the first batch of selected fine wines of various Slovenian producers for total value of 200,000 euros.
The EU Commissioner Phil Hogan negotiated with the representatives of the Peoples Republic of China and Japan to increase export of dairy products and pork from the EU.
China can purchase the Airport of Maribor. The sales negotiations are entering the home stretch. The project cost is estimated at about 6–7 million euros.
